Blue Chip
The objective of the Blue Chip portfolio is to invest in large companies, which are usually components of the Dow Jones index. Stocks are selected through a relative strength methodology that looks for the stocks of established companies that show the best performance at the moment and at the same time avoids the weakest ones.
By gaining exposure to stocks, the model will have funds invested equally in the 5 most favorable stocks. This is an appropriate investment strategy for those investors with a high risk profile (5), that is, investors who seek long-term appreciation of their portfolio, seeking higher returns, but accepting more risk in the short term. Typically someone who tolerates a greater degree of fluctuation in the value of their investments.
